About us
On this page, we explain who we are, how Splash of Magic came to be, and what inspires us to bring new props, costumes, and cosplay projects to life every day. Behind Splash of Magic are Cindy and Mark, two creators with a love for games, fantasy, and all things cosplay, along with our loyal studio dog Sam.
Splash of Magic was founded in 2024 from our shared passion for cosplay, fantasy, and creative craftsmanship. What started with 3D printing props and making costumes for ourselves quickly grew into a small workshop where we could turn our hobby into something we wanted to share with others.
Today, we — Cindy and Mark — run Splash of Magic together as a small business where creativity, technology, and handcraft come together. Cindy mainly focuses on the creative process, costumes, and finishing, while Mark handles 3D design, printing, and technical execution. Together, we work on unique cosplay props, armor, costumes, and commissions that are made with care and attention.
In addition, we collaborate with several partners. For instance, we work with Galactic Armory to make high-quality cosplay props and armor accessible to cosplayers looking for quality and detail. For paint and finishing, we use products from The Army Painter, ensuring that every project receives the look and quality it deserves.
Through these collaborations, we can offer even more unique designs, professional prints, and high-quality finishes within our workshop.
Everything that leaves our workshop is carefully designed, printed, finished, and packaged by ourselves or in collaboration with our trusted partners. From small accessories to elaborate display pieces and wearable props: every project receives the same attention to detail, quality, and finish that we put into our own cosplays and creations.
Whether you're looking for a unique display piece, a complete cosplay component, or help with your next project, we'd love to help bring your idea, character, and story to life.

Every cosplay tells its own story. View a selection of previous commissions, custom projects and creations that we have brought to life with great care.
A cheerful mushroom dress, entirely custom-made. The pattern was self-designed, and the dress was made with a sewing machine, from the initial sketch to the final result.
This customer wanted not 1 but 2 pirate costumes, consisting of a dress, skirt, vest, and a captain's shirt. All parts were made with a sewing machine. Since we didn't have a model, here is Cindy in the photo (wearing a costume two sizes too large).
Sometimes we also do custom 3D printing, delivering things other than a costume or prop. This cake topper had to resemble the 30th-anniversary logo of Disneyland Paris. The print was made from white PLA and then painted pink and finished with glitter.
Helldivers 2
In the meantime, we have already been able to make several Helldivers DIY kits and individual costume parts for various customers. But currently, we are making several complete Helldivers costumes simultaneously.
Disney - Beauty and the Beast
This is a WIP. The client wants a romanticized version of the classic Belle village dress. By wrapping the client's torso in foil and duct tape, we can create a custom pattern, which contributes to a good fit.
League of Legends
This is a WIP for Cindy. When I first started playing League of Legends, Jinx was released, and I've been obsessed ever since! Now it's high time I made a cosplay of her.
